Query and reporting facilities for end users as well as IT staff.
Easy-to-use Executive Information Systems (EIS) and Decision Support Systems (DSS), using rapid data mining techniques to combine, collate and present management information from a wide variety of data sources.
Internet/intranet deployment via HTML and (under development) XML.
Integration: Genius operates with most relational database products (Oracle RDBMS, CA-Ingres, Oracle Rdb, etc.), with non-relational datbases databases (e.g. as Oracle Codasyl DBMS), and with indexed flat files (RMS or ISAM). It also integrates with many legacy systems and applications, allowing enhancement, augmention or phased replacement of existing systems with up-to-date 4GL and EIS techniques.
Portability: Genius is portable across most hardware platforms, including Compaq OpenVMS (Alpha and VAX), Microsoft Windows (all 32-bit versions), most Linux distributions and most proprietary Unix variants (Compaq Tru64 Unix, Sun Microsystems Solaris, IBM DYNIX/ptx, IBM AIX, HP-UX etc. 64-bit platforms and datatypes are fully supported.
Performance:Genius uses an ultra-fast, single-pass compile-and-go technique to convert application source directly into executable machine code programs which are stored for re-use and combine high efficiency with a small memory footprint and low resource usage.
Licensing: Genius modules can be individually licensed to optimize costs.
