Following on from HP's announcement that OpenVMS, Tru64 UNIX and Non-Stop systems will be ported to the Itanium platform; Cristal is proud to announce that these will be added to the targets for the Itanium version of the Genius Solution which is currently under development.

Genius will be available on these platforms as soon as possible after their official release by HP in 2004, and will follow the current Itanium development targets of Windows XP, Linux and HP-UX.

Development of the Itanium versions of the Genius Solution builds on the experience we have gained with 64-bit support on the currently successful 64-bit Alpha microprocessor, running under both OpenVMS and Tru64 UNIX.

Existing 32-bit versions of Genius already support all recent Microsoft Windows systems, as well as Linux and HP-UX.

The Genius Solution is also available on other 32-bit platforms including Sun Sparc, Dynix/PTX, AIX, SCO and VAX/VMS. Native 64-bit versions are available under Tru64 UNIX and OpenVMS on Alpha processors.
