This is a high speed, flexible two way connection using a stabilised antenna available in formats ranging from aviation compatable conformal blister pack, to static land based conventional dish antenna at remote sites such as oil platorms, oases and other remote stops, to maritime stabilised dome antenna for yachts to cruise ships, to a suitcase sized portable kit that can be quickly deployed wherever you are camped.
This IP-based satellite system provides not only always on broadband internet access but also VPN circuits to corporate networks and VoIP connections to the PSTN network. It allows downloading of streaming video, video conferencing facilities, and provision of conventional telephone exchange services around your broadband terminal.
The dish size for maritime service depends on the region in which you expect to use it. In the mediteranean a 1metre dish is suitable, for the equatorial band a smaller dish is adequate (80cm) while for more extreme latitudes a 1.2 metre dish is recommended.
This craft is too small to mount a stabilised satellite broadband antenna system.
