Genius is continuously maintained and improved, and we aim to release a new version every 18 months or so, subject to external factors such as availability of new hardware. Between new versions, maintenance releases ("freezes") are made available about every two months to allow users prompt access to new features or problem fixes. In exceptional circumstances, users can opt to receive an updated component immediately via an "unfrozen" release. Our goal is to provide a high-quality service with fast turnaround.

Cristal support can be reached by telephone (on a 24x7 basis), e-mail or fax, and aims to resolve most enquiries within 24 hours. Problems which cannot be resolved immediately are escalated to a member of the development team for expert attention. All calls are logged into our support database, which is regularly monitored and analyzed to identify problem areas and trends which require attention.
